No — all standard checks run without an account. These include ABN, GST, web presence, WHOIS, email validation, address, social/registry, and trust scoring. Sector checks (ACNC, APRA, NDIS, insolvency, super fund, SG compliance) are also free — just opt in from the tile panel. An account lets you save cases, revisit past verifications, and email reports.
Both are continuous supplier monitoring features. Phoenix Beacon (Individual, A$10/mo) lets you monitor up to 10 suppliers — ideal for sole traders and small teams. Phoenix Shield (Enterprise, A$200/mo) has no supplier limit and adds API webhooks, director cross-reference, and white-label reporting. No. Account credits never expire. If you buy a pack of checks and don't use them within 30 days, the unused balance converts to account credit that stays on your account indefinitely — applied automatically at your next checkout.
Gumshoe places an automated AI voice call to the supplier's registered phone number. The call confirms whether an authorised person answers and can identify the business by name. You receive a transcript and a PASS, WARN, or FAIL result within minutes. Cost: A$5.75 per call.

Annual plans are a one-time payment for 12 months and do not auto-renew. When your plan expires, your account returns to the free tier — all your cases and data are retained. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase; contact billing@gumshoe.au with your order reference.
Unused account credits are non-refundable but never expire. For subscription refunds within 14 days of purchase, contact billing@gumshoe.au. For any charge where a verification didn't complete successfully, we refund in full.
